Room Booking Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policies
Bookings can be cancelled by midday two days prior to arrival – with no charge. Rooms cancelled after this time will be subject to a charge of the full amount. In the event of non-arrival, the full stay will be charged.
Advance Purchase Rate/Deposits
All bookings are required to be guaranteed by either a credit or debit card or a deposit equivalent (at the time of booking). Bookings made on promotional, seasonal and advance purchase rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment for the above rates can be taken at any point prior to arrival. In the event of non-arrival, the full accommodation amount will be charged.
Our Rate
Our rate is inclusive of VAT, cancellation/amendments are permitted up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
Payment
Payment will be taken on the morning of arrival by the card number used to secure your booking, should you wish to use an alternative card you must notify Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms prior to arrival or update the card details through express check in on the day of arrival.
Prices
All prices include service and VAT. Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms reserves the right to alter published prices at any time for non-confirmed/guaranteed bookings.
Methods of Payment

Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms preferred method of payment is by debit/credit. Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms accept payment using the following credit and debit cards; American Express, MasterCard, Visa Credit and Vista Debit.
Third Party Bookings
Bookings via a third-party: for bookings made through an online booking platform or third-party travel professionals, please contact them directly to amend or cancel your booking – we have advised these companies of our cancellation policy and you should refer to their terms and conditions.
Check In/Out
Rooms are available from 3:00pm on the day of arrival, and last check-in is at 10:00 pm – for later check-in please contact Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms prior. Check-out time is at 11:00am, late check-out may be available and is subject to an additional charge. Late check-in and late check-outs are subject to availability at the discretion of Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms. Please note our welcome reception desk is not manned 24 hours.
Offers & Promotions
Offers & Promotions are all subject to availability and cannot be transferred. All Offers & Promotions will state if they are applicable per person or per room. Offers & Promotions are only available on the dates outlined. All Offers & Promotions are subject to the individual cancellation policy (see cancellation policy).
Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms – Details
We reserve the right to change details without prior notice.
Please note:
- Electrical appliances such as toasters, mini cookers or grills are not to be used in rooms.
- You must not advertise or otherwise offer any Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms, rooms for sale either on its own or as part of a package.
- All our rooms are entirely smoke-free, including the bedrooms. If you do not adhere to this law, we reserve the right to charge you an additional £200.
- Takeaway food is not allowed in the room at anytime.
Child Policy
Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms recognise children as being 17 or under. Please be aware that individuals over 18 will be classed as adults and charged accordingly on arrival. Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure that the child’s behaviour is appropriate. At the discretion of Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms, children may be excluded from certain bedrooms.
No person under the age of 17 can check-in and stay without their parents or guardian(s) over the age of 18. The room must be booked by the accompanying parent or guardian, who must be staying in adjacent room and have key access to the room occupied by the child/children.
Inappropriate Behaviour
It is our policy that all our guests and staff have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and as a responsible host we have a duty of care to our guests and staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay. Should the staff deem any actions by a guest inappropriate, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the duty manager, Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the police may become involved, or guests may be asked to leave.
Dog Policy
We are pleased to welcome you and your pet to Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms. We have specific rooms available for people wishing to say with their pet. You will be allocated a Dog-Friendly Room (Room restrictions may apply)
- Please do not leave your pet unattended in your room.
- The employees are not able to enter the room to perform their duties unless either you or a pet-sitter is present. Please contact Reception to arrange for a convenient time for servicing your room.
- Please note there is a £20.00 charge per dog per reservation.
- A maximum of two small dogs (Springer Spaniel or smaller) or one big dog per room (Labrador or bigger)
- Dogs are not permitted on any of the furniture.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead.
- We always ask you to consider our other guests and keep your dog under control.
